What a great seminar weekend for our chapter! Thank you to Nate Czarnota with Iron Oak Dog Co. for making the trip to the MN Northwoods & for putting on a wonderful seminar for those that attended!

We learned a lot & have some tired dogs. We can’t wait to continue to apply the knowledge to our dog training journeys & to share some key points with other members within our chapter.

Thank you to all volunteers & MN Northwoods NAVHDA Board members for all the help behind the scenes & over the weekend. And big thanks to Jerry & Brenda Havel for allowing the use of your beautiful place!

I'll be at Pine Ridge Grouse Camp NEXT WEEKEND for a seminar hosted by Minnesota Northwoods Navhda

I've traveled a bunch to train with different folks and overwhelmingly the versatile gun dogs that we have are fantastic. They are fully capable of Prize 1 UT and VC titles. They don't need more birds or more time. They need a better process, more clarity, and better training setups. This is what I'm hoping people take away from these seminars.

There's still a few spots open if you'd like to attend. You can register here:

Thank you to those members that volunteered & came out for the chapter work day Sunday! Every year we continue to secure & modify both our chukar pen & duck run for the better. Birds will continue to have a drier and safer place thanks to you all.

Awesome to have this done in preparation for our first training day this Wednesday May 6th at Pineridge Grouse Camp in Remer, MN starting at 4:30.
