Due to extreme cold temperatures expected overnight, Tallapoosa County Schools will be on a two-hour delayed start on Tuesday, January 27th. Bus pick up and school start times will be two hours later than regularly scheduled. Teachers and support staff, without special duty assignments, need to report 30 minutes prior to students’ delayed start time.

Due to the possibility of black ice and hazardous road conditions on Monday Morning (1/26) all Tallapoosa County Schools and offices will be closed. All practices and extracurricular activities are also cancelled. Because we are not under a state of emergency we are required to make up the missed instructional day.
As a result, the teacher workday scheduled for Monday, February 16, 2026 will serve as the make-up day and students will attend school.
We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we work to ensure that instructional time is made up in accordance with state requirements. Thank you for your continued support of our students and staff. At this time Tuesday (1/27/26) will be a regular school day for all Tallapoosa County Schools.

Baseball Tryouts! ⚾️

Reeltown Baseball Tryouts will be next Monday-Wednesday, January 5th-7th after school. Prospective players in grades 7-12 must have a physical on file to participate in tryouts.
