Old Towne Reedsport Merchant Association - OTRMA To keep the community informed about the charitable activities of the Old Towne Reedsport Merchant Association,

Old Towne Reedsport Merchant Association OTRMA was established in 2008. That year we established the Downtown Hanging Basket project which is currently still going on. In 2009, OTRMA applied for and was granted access as an exploring member to the Oregon Main Street Program. The City Counsel supported OTRMA'S efforts to brng this program to Reedsport. The Main Street Organization completed two major studies that brought a clearer understanding and hidtory of the dpwntown area.

A BIG THANK YOU to the guys from the City of Reedsport Public Works Dept. who helped unload the truck and then hang the baskets this morning. We at OTRMA couldn't do it without you. AND, a big Thank You to Travis for bringing all the beautiful Petunia Baskets to Reedsport. As usual, a VERY successful event. I took a couple of pictures. I think the guys were a little shy to be photographed. Oh Well - I did try. Again, Thanks So Much

OTRMA is still doing the hanging flower baskets downtown going forward. Sorry for any miscommunication by any of my prior posts. Several people have approached me asking about this. WE ARE STILL DOING THE HANGING FLOWER BASKETS FOR 2025. It is never a wrong time to donate. So if you are interested, please send your donations for 2025 to OTRMA, PO Box 543, Reedsport, Oregon 97467. OR - you can drop by your donation at the Creative Mercantile at 392 Fir Ave in beautiful Old Town Reedsport Wed-Sunday 10-4. Thanks

Well, the day has come. Allen and I are officially retiring . We are cancelling the Mother's Day Sidewalk sale in Old Town and The Reedsport Christmas Bazaar 2024. We are tired and really need a break. We will not be running the Reedsport Farmers Market this year either. Allen will finish his term as City Counselor and make the decision about re-running when the term is over. Sorry for any disappointment to any of our followers. But, we are ready to slow down and smell the roses so to speak. Thank You to all the volunteers and people who have helped along the way. It has been an honor. Kathi & Allen
