A glimpse into our LifeWise Academy end-of-year celebration! 🎉

This is our biggest photo post yet because we captured so many smiling faces.. and we just had to share them all.

First and foremost, we would like to thank Redwater ISD, our LifeWise Board members, parents, volunteers, and First Baptist Church Redwater for not only making our celebration successful, but for supporting our entire first semester of LifeWise Academy.

Yesterday’s party was also made possible through generous donations from:
• Heritage Church
• FBC Redwater
• Sonic – Redwater
• BIG MO’s SNOW CONES

Each child received a certificate of completion as we celebrated all they learned throughout the semester. We reviewed memory verses and tested knowledge from our classes, and proud is truly an understatement. Watching these students grow in both Bible knowledge and character has been such a blessing. One of the greatest compliments we continue to hear is students asking for LifeWise Academy to begin at the start of the school year next year.. a true reflection of how much they have learned and enjoyed Bible-based character education.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week from LifeWise Redwater 🍎💛

We are so grateful for the incredible teachers and staff who partner with us to bring Bible-based character education to students each week. We truly couldn’t do what we do without you!

Today we celebrate School Bus Driver Appreciation Day, but we want to take a moment to honor someone who is so much more than a driver to us.. Mr. Kevin.

Mr. Kevin faithfully gets our LifeWise Academy students and volunteers to and from school safely, but his impact goes far beyond the bus. Week after week, he shows up.. not just behind the wheel, but fully present in our lessons, encouraging our students and offering a helping hand wherever it’s needed.

He even takes time to learn the weekly memory verse right alongside the students.. helping them practice, hide God’s Word in their hearts, and cheering them on.

He speaks life over our kids, prays for them, and is a true example of what it means to walk as a man of God.

Mr. Kevin, we are so grateful for you and the role you play in LifeWise Academy. Please join us in giving him a huge thank you today! ❤️

My heart is heavy today for students. Will you join me in praying for them? They deal with so much these days from so many angles. We talk about how it was when we were in school but it is different today. They have the enemy coming at them from so many creative ways and it is getting harder and harder for them to distinguish. Redwater ISD has some amazing kids and LifeWise has allowed me to meet and create relationships with so many of them. We are up to almost 100 students enrolled at just the Intermediate campus! Many of them are seriously wise beyond their years - it amazes me each time we meet - BUT they are still KIDS and they still need spirit led ADULTS to help guide them. Redwater is also so blessed to have many who have the kids best interests at heart. LifeWise is about to conclude for this school year but we plan to be back in full force next year and could use help to continue spreading the Word to these kids so that they have the armor that they need to continue on each day. We are looking for volunteers and teachers to continue on helping us do that! Let me know if you are interested and if nothing else PRAY (which is the most important) for these kids and their future! ❤️❤️

✨ Board Member Spotlight ✨

Hi! I’m Lani Crump. My husband, Jody, and I have three children ranging from elementary through high school. We moved to the area five years ago and are so grateful to be part of the Redwater community.

My husband and I write songs and lead worship for churches, camps, and events, and we also run a recording studio. You can find our music on streaming platforms under Jody and Lani.

Being part of LifeWise has been so rewarding. The students are intentional about memorizing scripture and ask such thoughtful questions during lessons. It’s incredible to watch them make meaningful connections to spiritual concepts and share their insights. It’s truly an honor to play a small role in helping your student learn more about God each week. 🤍

🚨 LifeWise Academy Redwater – Parent Reminder 🚨

Due to STAAR testing, we will not have class this week.

🎟️ Raffle Reminder:
If your student still has raffle tickets or money to turn in, please place them in an envelope labeled “LifeWise – Megan Lewis” and drop them off at the school office no later than Friday, April 17th so they can be included in the drawing.

🚌 The raffle drawing will be held on April 19, 2026
👉 You do not have to be present to win!

As our students begin STAAR testing, I’m asking you to join me in covering our schools in prayer. 🤍

Pray for peace over anxious hearts, confidence in what they’ve learned, and clarity as they take each test. Pray for our teachers.. that they feel encouraged and supported.. and for a calm, focused environment in every classroom.

Let’s come together and lift up our students, staff, and schools during this important time. 🙏
