This year, RUHS is hosting its first annual TEDxRedondo Union High School event in the RUHS Auditorium on Saturday, February 28th! We are currently taking student and adult speakers who have a new, insightful idea or perspective to give a TEDx Talk at our event. Our theme is Bloom Beyond Boundaries! By sharing ideas to our listeners, we are hoping to help them bloom with knowledge - meaning to grow, evolve, expand, and learn more than what they may think is capable! We hope to educate all of our listeners with diverse information that will help them pursue their passions. Your idea does not have to fit perfectly within this theme, as long as it aims to share information to help our attendees expand and grow with knowledge.

The deadline to apply to be a speaker for students and community members has been extended to January 5th, 2026! Apply today if you have an idea worth sharing at our event!

It’s official! The first annual TEDxRedondo Union High School Youth event is coming to the RUHS Auditorium on February 28th, 2026! We are a youth-led TEDx event, aiming to foster a space where like-minded individuals can share their diverse idea's, inventions, and contributions to their school and Redondo Beach community. The event consists of multiple student and adult speakers, platforming their idea’s worth spreading.
