Have you heard of CARE Court?

This is a newer voluntary court process that looks to connect existing county services to loved ones who meet specific eligibility, including:
a diagnosis of bipolar I disorder with psychotic features,
schizophrenia spectrum disorder, or other psychotic disorders.

If you have a loved one that meets the above criteria and have been unable to help them move towards recovery and treatment, CARE may be exactly the assistance you have been hoping for!

It's finally happening! NAMI Family to Family, a free 8-week class is returning this Fall starting Tuesday, September 28th. These classes will be in Redlands with one classroom for English speakers and one classroom for Spanish speakers. This marks the first in person classes in our area since COVID. We so enjoyed our time as exhibitors at the Diocese of San Bernardino at the 2026 Life, Dignity, and Justice Conference today. Thank you to volunteer Donia Brooks for attending the conference and helping out at the breaks.

Summer days come to an end, and fall begins which means Back to School. Exciting for all but we also know that big changes, like going back to school, can be tough for kids – and their parents. We have all been there too!

Today, September 8, is 988 Day — a national day of action to raise awareness of the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline and help more people know where to turn for mental health support when they or someone they know is struggling.

People often hesitate to contact 988 because they worry their situation isn’t serious enough. Whatever you are facing, whatever your reason for contacting 988, please don’t hesitate – 988 is here to help.

This 988 Day, join us to help make sure more young people know about 988. A recent NAMI/Ipsos poll found that 85% of Americans support adding 988 to K-12 student identification cards to increase awareness of the Lifeline. The RAYS Act would make that a reality by requiring student ID cards to include information about 988 — a simple way to put this vital resource directly in students’ hands.
