I'm going to take a moment to make something very clear. This page will not serve as a platform for ANYONE to spread lies, create drama or harass anyone for any reason. It is a platform intended to create unity, create and support positive change, to share factual information, and to keep interested parties up to speed and aware of meetings and what stage the new ordinance process is at to the best of our abilities. People will be blocked if needed, comments with rumors and flat out lies will be deleted. There are a handful of people who have worked very hard to implement change, who attended these meetings and are actively working aggressively to create positive change for our community! I won't tolerate actions that undermine the process and the progress that has been made thus far.

Another productive ordinance meeting was held tonight. A huge thank you to everyone who has put in personal time, energy, resources into getting the ordinance in its final stages. Rough draft is complete, with a few minor adjustments needed and it will be on its way for approval! GREAT WORK EVERYONE! Stay tuned, stay informed, please show your support!

Just wanted to make a quick post after tonight's ordinance meeting.

Tonight's meeting was extremely productive, and had a great group of people who all contributed thoughts, research and offered constructive facts, opinions and direction!

Tonight's meeting was a prime example of what members of a community, coming together for a common cause should look like! I personally want to thank everyone who has done countless hours of research, documentation to help support the board, invest in our community and to those who simply came to stay accurately informed and educated on the process and progress.

Despite rumors and inaccurate statements being made regarding the child safety zones ordinance, I assure you it is progressing along efficiently, effectively and is supported by all parties involved in the process, including the board.

Everyone and the ordinance itself, is pushing ahead FULL STEAM !!! It is a process, and there are steps that have to be taken, but everyone is driving hard to get through that process as quickly, efficiently and effectively as possible!

Important update! The ordinance meeting scheduled for tomorrow at 6pm has been changed due to conflict. The meeting will be held at 4pm instead of 6pm!

Anyone interested in listening, contributing or helping work on the ordinance, there will be a meeting May 6th at 6:00 pm with village board members on the ordinance committee, to discuss and address child safely zones and regulations and the public is welcome to attend!
