Jackie Morganfield has been a pillar in our community, organizing events and bringing people together. Now, she’s facing a tough time as her daughter Angela has been hospitalized for over three weeks, waiting for critical care that’s not available locally. With no income during this period, Jackie is overwhelmed by travel and living costs while trying to be there for Angela.

I donated to this fundraiser because the cause really matters to me. It’s heartbreaking to see someone so caring and dedicated struggle through this. Even a small share or contribution can help them get through this difficult time.

Please consider sharing or donating if this cause speaks to you. Every bit of support makes a difference. DM me if you have questions or want to know more. 🙏💙

Please accept my sincerest condolences, to the family of Nick Cowell.
Shasta County and I were fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet Nick and his family through their involvement in the Shasta County school system, where Nick and his brothers quickly became invaluable additions to the numerous music programs.
I was blessed to see the family of musicians become the “Brotet” a jazz group made up of 4 Brothers with Nick on the bass guitar.
The family of Brothers was an example of a strong family Unit made up of humble, respectful and well
Liked Guys.
The “Brotet” at such a young age was an asset to the culture of Jazz in Shasta County and Enterprise High School.
Nick a blessed talented young man is absent from body but present with the Lord.

Celebrate the life of Dominique Cowell, leave a kind word or memory and get funeral service information care of Neptune Society.

Hello everyone,

An email was recently sent out by Ray Kermode titled “Help Alena Stay Housed” regarding my GoFundMe campaign, “Stability for a 61-Year-Old in Need.” This was so kind of Ray to share. The link to my campaign is below:

I want to share a small but important clarification about how you can best support me right now. I truly appreciate the care, concern, and problem-solving energy so many of you have offered. It means a lot to know I’m not alone. At this time, I am already working with Legal Aid and several organizations to address the situation, and I have the support I need on that front.

The most helpful ways to support me right now are by sharing my GoFundMe, contributing if you’re able, and holding me in your good thoughts. Those actions make the biggest difference for me in this moment.

I also kindly ask that people refrain from reaching out to Sue and Ray for additional information. They have generously helped already, and I don’t want them to feel responsible for more when they already do so much for the community.

I am deeply grateful to everyone who has already shared and contributed, or shared resources and assistance. Your generosity and kindness mean so much to me, thank you!

There is no additional information at this time. I am preparing to move and have faith that everything will work out for my greatest good.

With gratitude,
Alena
