Story Time schedule for the week of August 3rd from our friends at Shasta Public Libraries!

Beginning Monday, August 3, we're excited to introduce our updated weekly Storytime lineup. These days and times weren't chosen at random. They were selected based on feedback from our online and in person community surveys to better fit the schedules of the families we serve. Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts!

Here's what's waiting for you each week:

A classic library storytime featuring books, songs, rhymes, movement, and hands-on manipulatives that help build early literacy skills through play.

𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 · Sensory Storytime · 10:15 AM
Enjoy stories paired with sensory activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and learning through touch, movement, and interactive play.

𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 · Tunes & Tales Music Storytime · 3:00 PM
Sing, dance, and make music together with stories, instruments, movement, and plenty of opportunities to wiggle and have fun.

Listen to a story, then let your creativity shine with a themed art project that inspires imagination and hands-on learning.

SAVE THE DATE!

If you are going to be a High School Junior or Senior in the Fall, YOU ARE INVITED to College Quest 2026!

One of our goals is to help students make plans for their future! One way they can do this is to join us on Monday, September 21st from 5:30 - 7:30pm at Shasta College to meet representatives from over 40 colleges, universities, trade schools and military branches. This is a perfect chance to develop a plan for after graduation, learn about financial aid, and get your questions answered.
