Vortex Cheer

Vortex Cheer Competitive cheerleading gym established in 2018. We are a brand new competitive cheer squad here in Redding, Ca.

We pride ourselves on a strong family culture where athletes train in a safe, structured environment with qualified coaches dedicated to helping every athlete reach their full potential. We are dedicated to successfully encourage and inspire youth through sports. With skills such as teamwork, discipline, trust and encouragement that they will take with them through their journey to adulthood. Our

coaches have many years and multiple Championship titles between them and are ready to show the world of cheer what a Cheer Valley Vortex young athlete can do! We also include tumbling training with your sign up to the squad and welcome young athletes up to 17 years of age. We look forward to bringing this new and exciting adventure to the young athletes in Northern California.

Hello, I am Coach Amy. For 15 years, I coached high school cheerleading, taking teams to Nationals in Florida. I have also coached high school stunt for 8 years with 3 appearances at the state championships. I have proudly been part of the Vortex family for the past 6 years.

My favorite part of coaching at Vortex is the family atmosphere and the genuine love, support, and encouragement everyone has for one another. Helping athletes grow in confidence, skill, and character is what makes coaching so rewarding.

Coach Amy is our Weather Girls coach as well as one of our Crush and Category 3 💚 coaches.

Hello, I am Coach Christy. With a lifelong passion for cheerleading, I have been involved in the sport since the age of 10. My coaching journey began in high school and has continued ever since, allowing me to mentor and develop athletes of all ages and skill levels. This will be my third season with Vortex, and I couldn’t be more excited to support the athletes as they build confidence, improve their skills, and achieve their goals.

Hi! My name is Shalisa, and I am a proud mom of four daughters. I have been coaching cheerleading for a little over 20 years and have loved helping athletes build confidence, skills, and a passion for the sport along the way.

I am so excited to become part of the Vortex family. From the very beginning, I have felt such a positive and welcoming environment, and I look forward to growing, learning, and creating lasting memories together with the athletes, families, and staff at Vortex.

Hi, I’m Kristina Perales! I’ve been coaching cheer for the past 6 years and have been part of the Vortex family for the last four years through my daughters who are athletes in the program. Cheer has given my family so many amazing experiences, and I’m excited to begin my first season coaching with Vortex.
