🌟 Community Voices: Local Leaders, Shared Vision 🌟
Ron Lorenz, Superintendent of Red Oak Community School District shares why he believes ROAP is a vital step forward for our community.
“In addition to modern and up to date school buildings, small towns and rural communities must consider providing a range of amenities that cater to the needs of current and future residents. That includes housing, childcare, healthcare, entertainment and parks and recreational spaces. The successful implementation of those amenities almost always requires a strong public private partnership and community support.” - Ron Lorenz, Superintendent

❤️Partnering for Red Oak’s Future: ROAP + Red Oak Community Heart & Soul❤️
Red Oak Area Partnership (ROAP) is proud to collaborate with Red Oak Community Heart & Soul, a resident-driven initiative shaping the future of our community. From 2023 to 2024, Red Oak Community Heart & Soul engaged residents across the Red Oak School District by gathering stories, insights, and priorities through surveys and interviews. 🤝 The goal? To understand what people love about Red Oak, what concerns them, and what they envision for tomorrow.
This grassroots input is more than just data, it’s a roadmap. 🗺 Red Oak Community Heart & Soul findings will guide ROAP in identifying and funding community action ideas that matter most, including housing, childcare, and long-term sustainability. ♻️
As a conduit for collaboration, ROAP is committed to supporting and amplifying the project ideas that emerge from the Heart & Soul process. 💡 By partnering with nonprofits and community betterment organizations, ROAP helps turn local voices into lasting impact.
Together, we’re building a Red Oak that reflects the hopes and values of the people who call it home. 😀🏡

We are thrilled to share the Statements & Themes that reflect the heart of Red Oak, and they wouldn’t be possible without the many dedicated volunteers who spent countless hours reviewing community responses. ❤️

Thanks to YOU, we’ve captured what matters most to our town:

- Community Roots
- Public Safety
- Entertainment & Recreation
- Schools
- Government
- Economic Development

Each theme celebrates the values, hopes, and strengths that make Red Oak a special place to live, work, and grow.

Your voices shaped these statements. Your time and heart made them real. THANK YOU!
