The Red Lion Little Free Food Pantry is reopening due to the current state of the economy. We're doing it a different way. Since we aren't able to open like we did before, we can't accept food donations, but we are collecting food store gift cards to give out to those in need. We also accept monetary donations to buy gift cards. Gift card & monetary donations can be dropped off @ Creation Cabinetry & Sign Co. 3265 Cape Horn Rd, Red Lion. The Red Lion Little Free Food Pantry is closing for good on Saturday, May 15.

We have decided to close after more than a year of operating during the pandemic. We are closing because we have seen a decline of patrons coming each day. Some days now, only 3 or 4 people show up each day.

I would like to say a big thank you to all of our volunteers and people who have supported us with both food and monetary donations. It amazes me that we were able to do so much for the community without any government help but relying solely on community donations. I'd like to thank LWCC for hosting us since last July.

We helped thousands of families during the pandemic and gave out a couple hundred thousand dollars of food, diapers and personal care items.

I personally was blessed in so many ways through the food pantry.
I met a lot of great people both volunteers and clients.

If anyone knows of a church or other non-profit food pantries, please have them contact Jenn @ 717-841-5435 via text message. We have a considerable amount of food left we would like to give away.

For those who have asked, the shipping container is being returned to J & K Salvage who graciously allowed us to use it for the last year. The refrigerators and freezer are going to another food pantry. The shed and shelving were purchased with my personal money and will be coming back to my house.
