PATH - Poor and the Homeless Tehama County Coalition PATH strives to end homelessness by providing emergency shelter and housing options to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Tehama County.

22/05/2026

At PATH Navigation Center, our mission is to serve individuals experiencing homelessness with dignity, respect, accountability, and support. We understand there have recently been discussions on social media regarding client services, and we want to provide clarification on how service suspensions and revocations are handled.

PATH operates as a behavioral-based program that utilizes progressive disciplinary measures whenever possible. Our goal is always to help individuals remain engaged in services while maintaining a safe environment for clients, staff, volunteers, and the community.

This means that rule violations do not automatically result in permanent removal from services. In many situations, clients may be temporarily asked to leave for the remainder of the day and encouraged to return the following day prepared to follow program expectations.

However, there are certain behaviors that may result in suspension or revocation of services, including but not limited to:
• Violence or threats of violence toward staff, clients, or visitors
• Physical altercations or aggressive behavior
• Possession, use, or distribution of drugs or alcohol on PATH property
• Repeated violations of program rules after prior interventions
• Behavior that creates an unsafe environment for others

PATH believes in accountability paired with opportunities for restoration whenever appropriate. In some cases involving substance use, services may be reinstated after the individual engages in treatment or demonstrates steps toward recovery and compliance with program expectations.

Our staff work hard every day to balance compassion with safety. We remain committed to helping those willing to work within the structure of the program and to treating every individual fairly and respectfully.

🚨 Well, well… looks like we had a “situation” on Monday 👀
Our Director of Operations, Jimmy, was “apprehended” and placed in Red Bluff Sunrise Rotary "Roving Jail".
Good news, no one’s stayed locked up for long. Around here, second chances (and a good sense of humor) are always part of the plan.
At PATH, we believe in building community, creating stability, and making room for moments like this, because connection matters just as much as progress.

As a new Red Bluff city ordinance made it illegal for people to camp in local parks overnight, many are now turning to Poor and the Homeless (PATH).

💙 2025 By the Numbers, and the Impact Behind Them 💙
As we reflect on 2025, we’re proud to share the impact our community made this year through food recovery efforts under California SB1383.
PATH received over 66,500 pounds of donated food from Feeding America partners, and even more when including other agencies! Prior to SB1383, much of this food would have simply been wasted. Special thanks to:
🏪 Dollar General (Antelope Blvd): 32,404 lbs
W Walmart: 32,510 lbs
🌱 Reeds Creek: 828 lbs
🎓 Red Bluff High School: 805 lbs

From this support, PATH served over 102,000 meals in 2025!

🍳 21,764 breakfasts
🥪 31,170 lunches
🍽️ 34,727 dinners
➕ 14,902 additional meals served as seconds
👏 Huge shout-out to our incredible kitchen staff who work tirelessly to keep up with demand and provide delicious meals with a smile every single day. Your dedication, care, and heart are felt in every meal served.
Thank you to our donors, partners, staff, and volunteers for helping us nourish our community

🚍 New Bus Stop at the PATH Navigation Center!

We’re excited to share that Tehama County TRAX Route 2 now stops directly at the PATH Navigation Center, making it easier than ever for our community members to access services, connect with resources, and get where they need to go.
And there’s more good news: a brand new bus stop shelter will be installed at this location early this summer to provide shade and comfort for riders.
💛 All TRAX rides are completely FREE.
This includes Route 2 and all other fixed routes across the county.
We also want to highlight that Paratrax and METS offer transportation options for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring everyone in our community has access to safe, reliable mobility.
Huge thanks to Tehama County TRAX and county partners for helping make transportation more accessible for our neighbors. 🚌✨

🐾COMMUNITY STRONG: THANK YOU TRACTOR SUPPLY!🐾
When we realized we were running critically low on dog food, Tractor Supply in Red Bluff stepped up immediately. Their team responded quickly, eagerly, and with incredible kindness- donating $860 worth of dog food to support pets staying with their owners at our shelter.
This is what community looks like: local businesses showing up without hesitation to meet urgent needs. We are so grateful for Tractor Supply's enthusiasm, compassion, and commitment to helping our neighbors- and their pets- when it mattered most.
Thank you for being such an outstanding community partner💙🐶
