Chatcolab offers a unique opportunity to build leadership by engaging in the creative planning and then sharing of a recreational experience. An atmosphere is created for discovering within ones self the latent abilities that normal environments seldom uncover. In this discovery, anyone can become a better person and more effective leader. y to uncover, utilize, and share those talents in themselves which are perhaps laying dormant. Music, humor, the arts, sociology, citizenship and the pursuit of knowledge are all available in a natural resource setting. "Labbers' can come with their children, parents, siblings and chosen family. It teaches skills, technology, group process and stimulates reflective change, continuing lifelong learning in an atmosphere of positive FUN! The basic idea behind Chatcolab is one word … SHARE. Chatcolab stimulates and enthuses by exposure to methods and ideas. Stress is placed on learning by participation and encouragement.

Chatcolab has brought us Nature's Gifts for 78 years, the Wild Cure this year. Thank you Matthew Kessi. We become what we are called to be. As we begin the September of this year may the ideas, philosophy,knowledge, and humor gained be shared. Ponder these wild things in the spirit and invitation of Wendell Berry! 🏞️

📣ATTN Ada county residents!!

Ada County 4-H is looking for volunteers to serve as 4-H Judges during our upcoming fair events, and we would appreciate your help spreading the word! Below is information to share and a link to sign up. I have also attached a flyer that can be shared via email or social media (this information can also be found on our social media pages.)

Judging is a rewarding way to encourage youth, recognize their accomplishments, and help them develop confidence and life skills. No 4-H experience is required—we provide guidance and support for all volunteers.

Volunteer opportunities include:
Record Book Interviews: August 8–18 (multiple date and time options available)
Project Judging: August 19 (Arts, Aerospace, Crochet, Entomology, Fishing, Foods, Geology, Knitting, Photography, Quilting, Robotics, Shooting Sports and more!)
Poster Judging: August 19 (Large and Small Animal)
Gold Medal Record Book Judging: August 19
Story Contest Judging: August 19

Service on Idaho Non Profit Boards is the foundation from which we build Chatcolab annually. As Agent Carver has the responsibility to tend to this board. 💦💦We had a splash enjoying the Twin Lakes at Twinlow United Methodist Camp & Retreat Center this summer.

And... we are ready to do it again next summer for our 79th year of gathering to celebrate leadership through recreation! 🚣‍♂️

There are a lot of 4-H members in Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington that abided well, and shared at Chatcolab, Inc over the last 78 years. I thank you for r making the BEST better! For your ideas, knowledge, philosophies and humor I am grateful. 🍀
