Links to Empowerment provided the Full Circle Mother/Child Rehab inpatient center with two brand-new portable DVD players this week.

When speaking with one of the case managers this past week, she identified a need for portable DVD players. She explained that when mothers and their children must go into quarantine due to illness, in order to prevent the spread of contagious conditions to the rest of the community, they are confined to their rooms for anywhere from 48 hours to 10 days, depending on their diagnosis and recommended quarantine period. This can be a long and dreary time with very little for the children to do, especially since the only DVD player is located in the community room for group use.

Now, mothers and their children will be able to watch movies while confined to their rooms throughout their quarantine period. 🥰👏🏼

This nonprofit means everything to us. What started as a personal mission to support children in need has grown into something much bigger, built alongside an incredible group of women.

We began by supporting students at McLaughlin School—providing essentials and resources so kids could focus on learning. After two years of building a full pantry and consistent support system, we’ve transitioned them to “as-needed” assistance.

Now, we’re proud to partner with Full Circle, a mama/baby recovery program close to our hearts. Seeing firsthand how critical continued support is for mothers in recovery, we’re stepping in to help fill that gap—supporting both moms and their children with essentials, mentorship, and meaningful connection during their transition and beyond.

From hygiene items and clothing to resume help, transportation support, and simply sharing time together—we’re here to help these women succeed.

❤️

Exciting news — we’re spreading our wings! 🕊️

After two years of fully supporting McLaughlin School, we’ve transitioned to serving them on an as-needed basis—continuing to meet needs as they arise or connecting them with other resources.

We’re also proud to partner with West River Mental Health’s Full Circle Mom/Child Rehab Facility right here in Rapid City. 👏🏼

Full Circle provides a safe, supportive space where mothers can heal from addiction with their children by their side—because that bond plays a vital role in recovery.

Our mission is to support both moms and kids during this journey by providing essentials like hygiene items, clothing, snacks, and laundry supplies—along with mentorship and meaningful off-campus time. From coffee dates and cooking together to resume building, interview prep, and transportation support, we’re here to help them move forward with confidence.

Your continued support makes this possible—helping families focus on healing, growth, and a brighter future.

Helping them up while helping them out.
Because if you have a pulse, you have a purpose. 🥰

Stay tuned for more updates, fundraisers, and a special thank you to our Gold Club Donors 🥰👏🏼
