UNITE Black Hills

UNITE Black Hills UNITE is a youth event and community of students and leaders that aims to Glorify Christ and unite the Body of Christ in the Black Hills. Amen.

UNITE Black Hills is a group of youth pastors, directors, and coordinators aiming to UNITE the Body of Christ. Their goal is to bring 6th-12th grade students together under one roof to worship one God and build lasting connections that will branch into their schools, jobs, and futures. The churches and leaders leading the 2025 event are:

UNITE uses the Apostles Creed as a foundational statement of beliefs we share in common with our participating churches. (The word "catholic" in this ancient text refers to the whole or universal Church; that is, all Christians):

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

Summer camp and mission trip season is in full swing, which means your schedule is chaotic, and your bloodstream is currently 90% caffeine.

You shouldn't have to navigate the craziness of ministry by yourself. If you are a youth pastor, director, or leader in the Black Hills area, you are invited to the next UNITE Youth Pastor Hangout! Come take a deep breath, laugh with people who get it, and find some community.

Here is what we are hitting this month:
-Youth Ministry Communication Tools: We are having an open roundtable discussion about the best platforms, apps, and tools to streamline how we talk to parents, leaders, and students. Since we will all need to start reaching out to families about Fall calendars sooner rather than later, it's the perfect time to compare notes and see what works best!
- The Youth Pastor Palate Test: We are putting your summer survival fuel to the test with a blind caffeine taste-test challenge! Can you actually tell the difference between White Monster, Celsius, and generic Dr. Pepper? Come defend your favorite beverage.

Come for the tools and the caffeine; stay for the connection and support. See you there!
