Hello Rapid City Bowlers

First I want to start off with a huge apology to our Youth Bowlers. The association held the Adult/Youth Tournament last October and it wasn’t realized until the City Award Ceremony in April that plaques were not given out to our winners. This oversight has been corrected and youth can now pick up their plaques at the following Bowling Centers. If you know any of these youth, please help get the word out that their plaques are available. Thank you!!!

Prayers and thoughts to the family of Rose Jeffery. Rose was a long time bowler and supporter of the bowling community in Rapid City. She was the league secretary of the Thursday Senior Mixed league at Meadowood Lanes for several years. In 2024-2025 she was awarded Secretary of the Year Award by the RCUSBC for her contribution to the game. Fly high and keep striking!

Rose A. Jeffery was born June 1942 in Rapid City, SD., to Edgar and Marie Schamber, the eighth of ten children. She passed away in April 2026. She was married briefly in the 1960s. She immersed herself in her work and retired after 30 years of service to the Accounting

2026 SD State Jamboree will be held at Cedar Shore in Oacoma the weekend of June 26 & 27.
Friday we will be at Bowling Dome in Chamberlain bowling a No- Tap Tournament at 2pm and again at 7pm.
Saturday is the delegate meeting, followed by the award luncheon. Saturday evening is the Hall of Fame dinner.
Pro bowler Keven Williams will be our guest for the weekend so come out and have some fun with Keven
Jamboree registration forms are on the website at 2025-2026 SD STATE TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS and YOUTH AWARD recipients will receive their awards and be recognized during the Jamboree luncheon on June 27 at Cedar Shore in Oacoma.
