🤎 It was an eventful powwow weekend here in Mni Lúzahaŋ (Rapid City).

💚 Shout out to Joe Flood - Candidate for House of Reps. District 27, for the opportunity to speak at the Indigenous Creator’s Conference and teaming up on a parade float. Also, shoutout to the young man who asked for my autograph and reminding me of the importance of Native representation in these spaces. I believe in your goal of becoming the first Native American U.S. President one day!

🐇 Wopila to those who have donated to “Hare for House” so far. I was able to get a billboard up (N. Lacrosse St. *Across from Little Caesar’s*). My kids now think I’m “famous”.

🙌🏾 Huge shoutout to the Hé SápA Wačípi Na Oškáte Committee for the opportunity to walk through the last Grand Entry on Sunday afternoon and Congrats on being the first event at the Summit Arena to sell out. That’s such a huge statement and accomplishment for our Native people!

🥳 Ending the weekend at the Indigenous People’s Day Celebration was a perfect way to end the weekend. The energy was so inspirational and the celebration gets better each year.

🙏🏾 Grateful to have seen so many relatives again and also meet new relatives over the weekend. If any local relatives would like a yard sign to display in their yard, please message me and I can arrange a time to drop off.

🗳️ Please tell your relatives to tell their relatives to get registered to vote! The last day to get registered to vote in the Nov. 3rd election is OCT. 19th and please reach out if you need any assistance.

✔️ Our next event is at the Oglala Lakota College’s forum this Friday (10/16) . If you can, please come and express your concerns for our community and meet your District 32 candidates.
