We got 13 haircuts done at the Community Connect event today!

It was just Lindsey Zimmerman cutting today, and it was a valiant effort.

That being said, we had 12 people who walked away from a cut because the wait time was too long.

If anyone ever wants to help with an event, please reach out.

Serving the community in this way is both profound and lasting.

The impact these haircuts have on confidence, self worth and self value for our brothers and sisters is immeasurable.

Thank you to Showered With Hope and all of the volunteers that made this event today possible.

We look forward to the next one!

Hi!!
As part of the Housing Stability Partners of the Black Hills, we have an event coming up Sept 29th.
The Community Connect serves the community with free clothes, shoes, bedding and much more.
We typically have around 500 guests walk through the door.
Showered With Hope is there with showers, hygiene kits, socks and underwear.
Home Ministries will be there cutting hair for free.
I'd like to ask if a couple food trucks could show up to help feed humans.
Salvation Army is always there with their food truck but we'd like to mix it up and also take the large burden off of them!!
Even if you showed up with 50 or so meals.... that would be amazing.
Thank you so much for considering it!!
Hit me up!!
