BMS is a organization thriving to increase the success of the African-American population, women especially, by empowering them,building self-esteem and establishing self-confidence while they are young girls which leads to a successful life. Black Mosaic Sistahood was founded in 2010 by Crystal Erwin and Ronnecia Coleman who both share the passion for youth outreach and dedication to encourage an

d train young African-American girls to be confident, well educated, successful and respectable women in society. Last but not least we want to teach others about the history and culture of African-American's and alter the way they feel about us outside of the way the media and society portrays us all to be, for a better understanding and respect for African-African woman. This self knowledge helps develop self-esteem and establish self-confidence. They will use these tools to get them through school, careers and for a successful life and also to educate others in hope to bring unity in communities,especially diversed areas.
