Gymnastics and Acro of Fair Oaks (GAFO) is a non-profit 501(c) organization of team parent volunteers. Our mission is to 1) foster, develop, and support male and female national and international amateur gymnastics competitions, and 2) to promote and provide resources for the development of excellence in competitive gymnastics.
We currently support four gymnastics disciplines: Artistic Girls, Artistic Boys, Trampoline and Tumbling, and Acrobatics.
Our gymnasts hail from various communities throughout the greater Sacramento region. They compete in local, state, regional and national competitions.
Our gymnasts to learn how set and achieve goals, how to be part of team, and how to solve problems. It takes great dedication to compete; these skills will serve them well throughout their lifetimes. Our gymnasts become natural leaders who give back to their communities on and off the competition floor.
Many of our gymnasts go on to earn scholarships and move on to compete in the collegiate arena.
