Calhoun County investigators and social workers wanted the community to see how many child abuse cases they handled in 2013, and they used 307 pinwheels to do just that.

The Cleburne County Foster and Adoptive Parent Association would like to thank each member of the community for helping make our children's Christmas more special. A special thanks to the following for allowing us to place Angel Trees in their businesses! BB&T Bank in Heflin, Buster Miles in Heflin, The Piggly Wiggly in Heflin, and WM Grocery in Heflin. You guys have no idea of how special you made the children feel. Thank you guys, from our hearts to yours!!

CCFAPA members - We will have a regular meeting tomorrow night at 5:30 pm in our building. Please bring a covered dish to share. We still need volunteers to help out at the Talladega Race next weekend!!

Thank you Lane and Living Word Family Church!

Everyone is invited to come out to Living Word Family Church and have some fun before school starts! We will have a water slide, games, and hot dogs for everyone. The church is located about 4 miles north of Fruithurst on Co. Rd. 49. Activities will be from 1:00 - 4:00 on Saturday. We hope to see you there!

Reposting - Mike and I would like to invite all of our family and friends to the adoption of the two newest members of our family. It will be on Tuesday, 23 July at 3:00 pm at the Cleburne County Courthouse in Heflin. Let us know if you will be able to attend.

Attention CCFAPA members - Don't forget that on Monday, 22 July at 10:00 am we will be doing scrapbooks at the CCFAPA Resource building. It should be over by 3:00 pm. Let me know how many of you guys will be there. Please bring a sack lunch and drink please. Thanks!
