Beauty for ashes 💖

It’s more than a phrase. It’s what we witness when restoration takes root. Through every story, every smile, and every moment of hope, we see lives once marked by pain begin to reflect freedom and love.

From our founder and Executive Director, Brenda 🙏
“I’ve been doing short-term missions work in Southeast Asia since 2015, and to this day still continue to learn about the heinous acts of human trafficking worldwide. My passion is to help end human slavery and bring freedom and wholeness to every person. I have a heart to see justice fulfilled.

Through our nonprofit, we are able to meet the basic needs of the at-risk poverty poverty-stricken, and look into the faces of women and children who feel unloved and hopeless, and be able to watch the transformation of the enslaved step into freedom. Truly beauty for ashes!”

This is what your support makes possible ✨ transformation, healing, and beauty.

Meet Susan Stone, one of Operation Love Global’s monthly supporters and a dear friend of the mission 🥰

Susan first heard about OLG through a mutual friend and immediately felt connected to Brenda’s heart for women and children in need. After learning how hands-on and dedicated Brenda was on the ground, Susan knew she wanted to get involved 🥹 and she’s been faithfully supporting ever since.

From helping with fundraising events to giving monthly, Susan says she feels “blessed to be able to give back and help women and children.” 🩵✨ Thank you, Susan, for walking alongside us. Your generosity and steady support remind us that community is how change begins 💖

Today was a powerful reminder that love flows both ways ✨

Brenda and Karissa spent the day at The Exodus Road’s Freedom Home in Thailand. They came hoping to bless survivors and staff with gifts and supplies, but instead were met with overwhelming generosity 🤍 food, laughter, art, and moments of deep connection.

This beautiful artwork was created by survivors as a gift for our team. A tangible reminder that healing, creativity, and hope can flourish even after hardship. 💞🥹

We’re honored to walk alongside them, to listen, to learn, and to share in the love and joy of community. 🙏

✨ The 2025 Passion Trip has officially begun! ✨

Brenda and Karissa are already on the ground in Thailand, preparing for the full team’s arrival 🥰

When we asked Brenda how she was feeling on the days leading up to this trip, she shared a word that’s been on her heart: “Vessel” 💗 And then she shared, “We are just vessels. Empty vessels for God to fill with His love. We will go open-hearted, ready to be fully present in each moment. Let God pour into us so that we can pour out His love to everyone we serve and encounter throughout this trip.” 💗

This two-week journey will be packed with purpose:
💫 Week One: Brenda and Karissa will connect with our longtime partners at
The Exodus Road, supporting their vital work in rescue and prevention.
🌸 Week Two: The whole team will join NightLight International at the Tamar Center, engaging in outreach and restoration alongside the local community.

Please keep our team in your prayers as they step into this mission with open hearts. 🙏 Let’s go change the world, one life at a time.

Missions Work in Cambodia

Two things I love very much are baking and the nation of Cambodia. So I’ve combined these two loves together to fund raise for mission trips to Southeast Asia. My first trip to Thailand and Cambodia to gain knowledge of the s*x trafficking situation in that area of the world rocked my world and, at the time, it didn’t feel good. But I knew I could not sleep well going back to my 1st world home and bed without knowing that I’d go back and help make a difference...even if I were to just help one. Well, I ended up going back time after time and I carry the nation Cambodia in my heart at all times. In 2019, our son Lucas went to Cambodia with me for his first trip and by day 2 he was already planning his next trip back. Our heart is to continue traveling back to work with Extreme Love Ministries (ELM) to end s*x trafficking. There are people who have committed their lives to live and work in the capital, Phnom Penh and through many programs and projects they work in the areas of prevention, rescue and aftercare. When we travel there we partner with them to be additional hands and feet to help put an end to this horrific and crippling “industry”.

On average, the cost is about $2,000 for each of us to go, but we love to fund raise beyond in order to have money for outreaches such as food distribution in a slum community, ice cream outings with the ladies formerly enslaved and now working in one of the ministries micro-businesses, and more.

Lastly, I’m under a 501c3 organization that provides tax receipts for financial donations. If you would like more information about this, please let me know.

Blessings, Brenda
