Good afternoon. I received more pictures from Djoncy. Some of the kids there just received their first set of uniforms. You can’t always tell, but they are pretty happy about it. Some smile, some don’t, lol. School means so much to them. It’s not just the education and camaraderie that means so much, but also for some it’s the only time they are equal or feel included. They get to be just like the other kids. That’s why BMK tried hard to select the most needed kids first. All Haitian kids are in need. And they all would love to have their tuition paid for… but God led us to the “least of these”. God is so good! But we could not have done it without you. Your partnership means so much to us. So thank you. And thank you Lord. ❤️

FYI… we’re still looking for a sponsor for the uniforms for 10 kids. It’s $30 for 2 complete outfits. If you can help with one or more, that would be great. $30 per child or $300 to cover all. Just let me know.

My next trip is planned for December 8th. During this time, I plan to take pictures of as many of the kids as possible, for their sponsors. I bought a few school themed props to make their school photo’s a little extra special. So we’ll see how they turn out. I’m not sure if Haiti has School Picture Day or not, but we’re about it start.

I also received our weekly update pictures of the guesthouse from Jocelyn. I love getting these updates. It makes being 1700 miles away during the build a bit easier. Jocelyn and I will talk more tonight or tomorrow about the sleeping arrangements, beds, mattresses, etc. If they are coming from the US, then we’ll need to get them ordered and shipped. So we’re getting it ready for you. Would you like to come? If you’re considering it, then now would be a good time to at least put something on the calendar for 2027. It cost nothing to hold dates for you and your team. At least think about it. You don’t have to be on mission for Behold My King to stay with us. You just have to love Haiti and have the heart to make a difference.

Frido has been busy working on the widows garden again. In this rotation he has sweet potato and cabbage. That seems to be everyone’s favorite. ❤️. He knows how to make them happy. I love how they use ox (they call “beef”) to plow the land. It’s almost unheard of here, but it’s how they still do it there. Sometimes we see the Amish use horses to plow in the U.S., but I’ve not seen ox. So this is nice to see. I posted a couple of videos that Frido shared. When you watch, be sure to include the sound. The tropical birds you hear in the background are impressive. It sounds just like the Amazon. lol.

On a side note, the Widows Garden is now self sustaining, meaning it not only feeds the widows but also pays for itself. Frido is working hard to use the proceeds from selling the produce to pay for the labor, plowing, seeds, etc, and still have food to feed the widows. We are very proud of Frido. He has a full time job at the college, but still makes time to manage this large project. Thank you for all you do Frido. ❤️

***I recreated this post because it was asking “how can I help you”, when you clicked on a picture. We don’t want that. And I added more pictures.***

The 2026-2027 school year is scheduled to start on September 7th, so there’s currently a bit of a rush to have all the uniforms made. Attached are pictures and videos of Djoncy and Johnky’s mother (Yanique Macelin) sewing and enlisting the help of others in attempt to have everything made in time. We still have 10 children who still need help with school uniforms. They need 2 sets each that cost $30 in total. If you would like to help, please let me know. Every little bit helps. $30x10=$300.

More progress on the guest house. I actually received these images a week ago, so I’m sure even more has been accomplished. The roof is done and the supports and plywood have been removed. Jocelyn had bars made for the windows for extra safety. They are working so hard. But it’s looking great!!! ❤️

Hello everyone. I’ve been trying my best to update the original list of kids for school sponsorship for 3 days now, but Facebook isn’t having it. It keeps telling me “you are not authorized to update this post”, but every so often it’ll let an update slide and it gets posted. So who knows what’s going on. I’ll continue trying, but for now this post will have to do.

Anyway, the good news is… all but 5 children have been sponsored for education (see their pictures and info below). And all but 10 received money for uniforms. Their tuition ranges anywhere from $110-$138 for the whole year. And uniforms are $30 for two complete sets. If you feel led to help, please let me know. I’ve posted all the ways you can send money below for a quick reference.

Let me just say that God is truly amazing. He knows just what we need and he’s always on time. I’m so thankful for his blessings and I’m so thankful for each of you….for all you do. And this includes all the prayer warriors who keep us in your prayers.

Guess what??? We now have a roof on the BMK Guest House. It was completed a few days ago. How exciting is that? If you watch the video, then you’ll see how these guys are hustling. They are really moving, everyone of them.

Also, Johnky has a friend who’s a teacher. He knows a thing or two about sewing agreed to come to the Sewing Center in Cange to teach a class for Johnky’s mother. They certainly are taking the sewing center to the next level. I’m so proud of them.

Lastly, I added 8 more kids that need sponsorship for school. But what we really need help with now is with school uniforms for the ones who did get sponsored. We started with the most desperate children first, and these families can’t even afford food. So we’re going to have to help them with uniforms. At least for the ones struggling the most. So I hope you’ll take a glance at the list and see if there is anything you’d like to help with. It’s $30 for two complete sets of uniforms ($15 each).

Hello all. We have some updates and new children. Please check the comments under the picture for the status. We have all but 10 kids sponsored (or pending sponsorship) for their tuition. And we might have another 10 more to be added. I’m still waiting on the details for those 10. But we still have a LOT of kids who could use help with uniforms. So if you are unable to help with tuition, but could possibility send a less amount to help “the most desperate” with uniforms, it would tremendous help.

Three new updates (rolled into one). The pictures below are of the children from the Val family you’ve heard me talk about before. They live near the BMK property and guesthouse. They are also the same kids were sponsoring for school. Anyway… We sent them a box of clothes and an outdoor game. They’re currently living in a hut covered in palm branches and a tarp. Clothing and toys are limited. So we thought this might bring them some joy.

Also, I’ve attached 3 more pictures of the guesthouse. It’s still moving along at a very nice pace. The guys are doing a great job.

Lastly, I believe we got the first round of kids sponsored for school tuition (minus uniforms and book bags). We are currently waiting on pictures of the next set of kids before my next formal post. Normally we would already have this, but we didn’t want to post kids that may not get sponsored. That would just break their heart. So this year we’ll do a handful at a time and see where the Lord takes us. If you want to help but can’t afford to sponsor a child, you can always help by purchasing uniforms ($30 for a set of two) or a book bag for $5. But prayers are helpful too. There so much power in prayer! We’ll take all we can get.

Sharing another update for today. The BMK Guest House is really progressing! I received these pictures 4 days ago and I’m just now able to make a post. The voice you hear in one of the video’s happens to be Frido’s voice. But Jocelyn takes us “inside” on his video. Did I mention how excited I am? lol.

Good morning! I just wanted to share pictures of the Youth Program that Djoncy and his friend holds a couple times a month. It’s very similar to Vacation Bible School, only more often. He gathers the kids for a day of Bible study, some fun, and often juice (or bottled water) and a snack. He can have anywhere from 40-80 kids. Can you believe that?!?! I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did. We are so blessed to have Djoncy on our team. God bless you Djoncy and thank you for all you do for the kids and the ministry.
