E.J. McDuffie is originally from New Bern, North Carolina. He is a double crowned Aggie, graduating from NC A&T in 2012 receiving his Bachelors of Science in Sports Science. And then graduated again with his Masters of Science in Adult Education in the Fall of 2014. E.J. is currently using his talents at Davidson County Community College as a Student Support Services (Trio) Counselor.

E.J. is a One Such Child Ambassador and has been for about a year now. In that time, he has participated in fundraisers and does a lot online promotion for us through various social media outlets. Aside from posting on social media for One Such Child, E.J. also is the front runner and co-creator of a podcast called The Barbershop Talk Podcast, where they discuss topics such as pop culture, sports, politics and others alike. Even before becoming a member of One Such Child, Inc. E.J. has the drive and desire to help and be active in his community. He shows this through his involvement and membership of Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity, Inc.

The down time that E.J. does have, is spent between the women in his life - his girlfriend and his two daughters, Raeghan and Harper. And if that's not enough, E.J. also enjoys a good game night with his closest friends.
A strong piece of advice that E.J. now would give to his younger self is, trust the process!

We cannot express how excited we are to have E.J. on the team! He by no doubt will repost this or maybe he wrote it himself, you will never know. If you happen to hear him on Wednesday's on his podcast or you see him around Greensboro make sure you introduce yourself.
