Switching sides of the bridge repair starting tomorrow

We are moving forward with the next phase of bridge repairs on Falls of Neuse Road. Following the completion of the northbound lane repairs, crews will begin work on the southbound lanes starting Friday, Nov. 22.

What to Expect:

Closure Area: Southbound lanes will be closed from Wakefield Pines Drive to the intersection at Old Falls of Neuse Road.

Duration: Repairs are expected to last approximately 4 weeks.

Access: The southbound section south of the intersection will remain open for “Thru Traffic Only."

Detour Information:
A signed detour route will remain in place to help drivers navigate safely around the construction area.

These bridge improvements are essential for enhancing the ride quality and ensuring the safety of all road users. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to complete this project efficiently.
