Most people will never hear their story.

But today, we stopped and listened.

We met a family living in a tent right here in Raleigh. A grandmother doing everything she can to help her daughter and grandchildren A grandfather desperately looking for work, trying to create a better future for his family. And a beautiful baby caught in circumstances they never chose.

What struck us most wasn’t their situation.

It was their love for each other.

Their determination.

Their refusal to give up.

Every day we meet people who are carrying burdens most of us can’t imagine, yet they continue to wake up and keep fighting.

This is why The Other Side of Raleigh exists.

To remind people that behind every struggle is a human being. Behind every hardship is a story. And behind every story is someone worthy of being seen.
