This week, a handful of museum professionals joined us for a Little Washington meetup at the P.S. Jones Museum of African American Education.

We heard from Alice Sadler, the curator of the P.S. Jones Museum of African American Education about the museum’s history and the community effort it took to bring it to life, toured the exhibits, including some new ones they’ve just added, and got to chat with our fellow museum pros in the region.

If you are in the Northeastern region and missed this meetup, we will be gathering again soon to tour the Visitors Center at Historic Halifax State Historic Site on September 19th! Visit our website to learn more.
