NCMC board members gather at SEMC!
For the third year in a row we won the SEMC Cup. The cup is given to a southeastern state that raises the most money for SEMC. We love our NC professionals that support both us and our regional museum association.
Quinn Godwin is the recipient of this year’s SEMC Outstanding Service to the Museum Profession Award! This award recognizes professionals who have dedicated 10 or more years of service to allied or affiliated organizations and have made significant contributions to the museum profession and cultural community across the Southeast. Quinn is the director of the North Carolina American Indian Heritage Commission in Raleigh, NC and serves on NCMC’s Outreach Committee. Congratulations Quinn!

Alex presented a session titled Leading Evaluative Thinking: Practical Strategies for Data-Informed Decision-Making. The session, co-presented by Melissa Dean, Museum Evaluator at the NCMA, explored different approaches to data collection, analysis, and use.
