Happy New Year from Art For All!
As this new year begins, there is so much gratitude for the people who showed up, painted walls, donated supplies, and believed in the power of art to bring people together. Art For All exists because of you, and 2025 was a beautiful reminder of what we can create in community.
In April, we partnered with Activate Good and Neuse River Magnet School to co-design a large mural grounded in the school’s five core pillars.
In July and August, we hosted an art supplies drive for Zebulon Magnet Middle. Then we took the art teacher shopping to stock up for the fall semester—removing cost as a barrier to creativity for students.
In August, we expanded our storage from a 5x10 to a 10x10 unit, a small but mighty step that gives us room to grow, organize, and dream bigger.
In November, we collaborated with Activate Good + Smith Magnet Elementary and installation artist Jane Cheek to create a bright, sculptural artwork for the school’s courtyard, with plans to add a new, pollinator-friendly planting palette this spring.
Art For All also supported Jennifer’s graduate work at NC State throughout the year.
WHAT’S ON THE HORIZON FOR 2026?
This year marks a pivot: from cultivating community through art alone to building resilient communities through public art and ecological design. The focus will be on projects that:
Art For All is evolving toward being a convener and a bridge—bringing together art, landscape, and community voices to create spaces that are both beautiful and rooted in connection to each other and to nature.
If you’re able, this is a powerful year to invest in Art For All’s future. Your support keeps the lights on, sustains the vision, and helps build toward a model that weaves together public art, landscape, and community resilience.
Thank you for being part of this work—for painting, sharing posts, sending checks, showing up, and caring about art-filled, connected, resilient places. Here’s to a new year of imagining and building what comes next, together.
