We’re looking for volunteers to help make our Easter Eggstravaganza a fun and memorable event for families in our community!

Volunteers will:

Day Shelter is different than emergency or overnight shelter. We work with women, providing meals, case management, and wrap around services. But what does wrap around really mean?
At the Women's Center, part of that support is ensuring women have their hygiene needs met. Our Star Store provides soap, shampoo, dental and feminine hygiene products, along with clothing, shoes, and survival supplies. We also have opportunities for women to take showers, get their laundry done, or learn something new.
Enrichment activities are a great way for volunteers to get involved without a long term commitment. You can teach one class or 20, and openings are available most weekdays in the morning or afternoon. For more information on how you can get involved, visit https://buff.ly/Tat2pzX

Our Pet Food Pantry shelves are looking a little bare, and we need your help to keep pets fed and families together. 🐾

We're currently running low on cat litter and medium-sized bags of dog food (18lb bags), two essentials that help us support pet owners in Wake County and surrounding areas facing financial challenges.

The Pet Food Pantry makes a real difference in our community. One in four pet owners who give up their pets to shelters say it's because they can't afford to care for them. By providing temporary food assistance, we help keep beloved pets in their loving homes and out of shelters.

Can you help us restock? Here's how:
🐾 Drop off donations: We're open 7 days a week, 9am to 5pm at our Raleigh location.

**WE are also opening Thursday morning, 10 to 1 for sweet potatoes!**

We have a large load of sweet potatoes!

Bring your bags and come get what you can use on Wednesday! We'll be open 10 to 2 tomorrow, then during regular pantry hours, 4 to 6.

That have been cured. The farmer said if you put them in a dark, dry place, they'll be really sweet by Christmas.
