SMRC had an awesome morning at the Northeast Alabama Community College resource fair.

Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. will be out Ribbon cutting ceremony and we will begin taking clients beginning at 11:00 AM for services.

Please come out and join us for our ceremony and help us spread the word about this awesome recovery resource in our community!! 🫶

What services will the SMRC offer? Check out some of these wonderful resources that you will find when visiting the cafe.

• Certified Recovery Support Services
• Identification Recovery Specialist (ID, DL, BC, SSC)
• GED preparation, Resume Building, Job Placement assistance
• Referrals and transportation to treatment services or judicial appointments
• Recovery Meetings called Recovery Circles ( lunch & night meetings)
• The School of Recovery classes (Life skills, coping skills, budgeting etc...)
• Free Lunch is served Monday- Friday.

💛 We Need You — Come Be Part of Something That will Changes Lives 💛

At Sand Mountain Recovery Cafe, we believe recovery happens in community — and community happens because people like YOU step up and serve.

We are currently looking for volunteers who have a heart to help others, whether that’s:✨ Serving meals✨ Welcoming guests✨ Helping with events✨ Mentoring and encouraging those in recovery✨ Food Pantry or Clothes Closet assistance ✨ Transportation.

You don’t have to have all the answers — just a willing heart. God can use simple acts of kindness to bring hope, healing, and restoration.

If you’ve ever said, “I want to make a difference,” this is your opportunity.
