🚨Volunteer Opportunity🚨

Shoutout to our wonderful manager/director Kristi for getting a much deserved vacation next week and we wish her a relaxing time away!! With that said, summer is here and so are cats and dogs puppies and kittens! We are asking for any volunteers willing to come help us out next week being short staffed in the mornings. We will comment underneath all days and if you are able to come help mainly in the cat room and washing dishes, we would greatly appreciate it!! Thank you 🙏

What is Volunteer-Village Co.?

We believe parents deserve to be part of their communities too.

Volunteer-Village Co. was created to remove one of the biggest barriers parents face when trying to volunteer, attend school events, support local organizations, or simply show up for causes they care about: childcare.

Our mission is to connect families with opportunities to get involved by providing free childcare during volunteer opportunities, educational events, community programs, and parent engagement activities.

We are still asking our community to help uplift one of our own. The Schmitt Family quickly became a pillar in the Raeford community and currently needs some love thrown their way. We are asking everyone to send silly jokes, beautiful art, or heartfelt messages to this wonderful family. Sierra, Jordan, Henry, and Claire deserve all of the love our community has to offer.

Today, we wish you a meaningful and memorable Memorial Day.

For many military families, Memorial Day carries both pride and grief. It is a day of remembrance for the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country and for the families who continue carrying that loss every day.

As we gather with family and friends today, may we also take a moment to reflect, remember, and honor those who made those moments possible.

We remember. ❤️

Hoke County Parents As Teachers is looking for some volunteers! See below and make sure to reach out to Samantha if you have any questions!

Volunteers needed at Hoke County Public Library and/or McLaughlin Park from 9:45 AM - 10:45 AM on 4 separate dates to supervise children ages 2 - 5 while they engage in a pre-arranged nature-focused activity. Volunteers will be responsible for ensuring safety and encouraging positive social interaction during the activity, which will be overseen by a lead volunteer. Must be able to pass a background check.
