🦁 What is a Lions Club?

You've probably heard the name, but what exactly do Lions Clubs do?

Founded in 1917, Lions Clubs are volunteer organizations made up of local people who are passionate about making their communities stronger. With more than 1.4 million members worldwide, Lions serve their neighbors by addressing needs both large and small.

Lions are especially known for supporting vision programs, but their work also includes fighting hunger, supporting youth, assisting disaster relief efforts, promoting diabetes awareness, and helping with community projects right where they live.

The best part? Every Lions Club is unique and focuses on the needs of its own community. Whether it's organizing service projects, raising funds for local causes, or partnering with other organizations, Lions are dedicated to making a difference.

The newly formed Hoke County Lions Club is excited to begin serving our community and finding ways to make a positive impact right here at home.
