As folks are assessing storm damage and dealing with no power, there are kids in towns all over Racine and Kenosha counties dealing with the reality of sleeping on a cold, hard floor.

You can help change that tomorrow!

We will have power (even if its the mobile kind), and will be at the Racine County Fairgrounds building beds for kiddos in need in our towns!

So top-up that generator at home, come out to the Dairy Barn at the Racine County Fairgrounds and start your day with some hot East View Coffee Company coffee, enjoy a delicious lunch provided by Tenuta's Delicatessen & Liquors and prepared by the Union Grove Kiwanis Club and then cool off with a frozen treat from "Cruiser", the Community State Bank ice cream truck! In between, help build some beds for kiddos in need so they can weather the storms of life in the comfort and security of their own bed.

A big thank you to the IEA Team for sending 5 teams of volunteers to deliver 24 beds to kiddos in Racine and Kenosha today!!

A father of one of the recipients left us with this great peice of wisdom learned from his grandmother: "A made bed is a made mind", these kids can now start their days by making their beds, and completing a task that gets their mind right for the rest of their day!

Thank you again Team IEA volunteers, and to chapter team leads Art, Doug and Jim, Mike P, Brian M, and Lori and Brian N for leading the teams today!
