Wow, what a weekend. We couldn’t have asked for better weather. Second year in a row we tested a Thursday night start, and it was a smash. It’s here to stay. This tournament is more than just something that started as an idea back in 1977. It’s become a staple in our community. Teams and players have traveled long distances just to be a part of this show, and boy, it’s cinematic. In prior years Latino teams from Milwaukee, Illinois, and even Michigan have played and taken the ship. We understand while this may be a prized possession to some, we must absolutely not forget what this is about. It’s about community. Scholarship recipients don’t care who played, who saw or where you’re from. They care about their future and we’re here to help. All of us. La Gente.

Special thanks to all the sponsors, vendors, volunteers, spectators, and players. Without you, none of this would be possible. We’re tired. A good tired. 2025 was one for the books. Chapter 49 is next. And wait til you see what’s in store for 50.
