For all the hurting, weary people who just don't know what to do. Jesus said "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
You have been given a free will by God and you can absolutely live any way you choose. But, if at the end of doing it your way you discover that you still haven't found what you are truly looking for, might I suggest turning your life over to Jesus.
So many have tried all the drugs and alcohol. They have slept with as many people as they wanted to. They have money, some have fame, and yet there is an emptiness in the soul. God loves us so much that He allows us to come to the end of a thing and discover we are still empty. I have never felt so much love and purpose in my life as when I trusted Jesus with my life 46 years ago.
If you want to know more about starting a new life in Jesus, I invite you to join us at King of Glory in Raceland La. on Sunday morning or Wednesday evening. Join with many who like you, tried it their way until they surrendered to Jesus. Take the first step in finding the rest that Jesus said He would give you.
