The National Hook-Up of Black Women, Inc. – Gadsden County Chapter was honored to host our Annual MLK Freedom Walk & Community Breakfast, bringing our community together in the spirit of unity, service, and nonviolence.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make this event a success, our keynote speaker, mistress of ceremony, program participants, partners, volunteers, sponsors, and every community member who showed up to walk, serve, and celebrate with us. Your time, energy, and commitment truly embodied Dr. King’s message of love and collective action.

Today, the Gadsden Chapter proudly hosted our Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Luncheon. During the luncheon, Gadsden County Board of County Commissioner Alonzetta Simpkins presented NHBW, Inc. – Gadsden Chapter with an official Proclamation declaring October 23, 2025, as Domestic Violence Awareness Day in Gadsden County.

We are honored to receive this recognition and remain committed to our mission to educate, advocate, and support efforts to end domestic violence in our communities. 💜
