The National Hook-Up of Black Women, Inc. – Gadsden Chapter extends our sincere gratitude to the Capital City Bank Group Foundation for its continued support of our Reading for Life Literacy Program.

The Capital City Bank Foundation has invested in this important initiative, with the Gadsden Chapter receiving this grant since 2015.

Because of this generous support, we are able to continue putting books in the hands of children throughout Gadsden County and encouraging a lifelong love of reading and learning.

In Loving Memory of Sister Lauren S. Wright 🕊️🤎

It is with heavy hearts that the sisters of NHBW, Inc. – Gadsden Chapter mourn the passing of our dear sister and cherished member, Sister Lauren S. Wright, who passed away on September 7th.

Sister Lauren was more than a member—she was a beloved sister, friend, and treasured part of our NHBW family. Her kindness, dedication, contributions to NHBW, and service to the community touched many lives.

We will forever cherish the memories, laughter, sisterhood, and special moments we shared with her. Though we miss her deeply, her legacy and the impact she made will remain in our hearts.

Rest peacefully, Sister Lauren. Your sisterhood will never forget you.
