Quincy Quivering Clays Traveling Trap Team

20 kids shot in the Illinois AIM State Shoot in Bunker Hill this weekend for Quincy Quivering Clays. We managed to avoid the rain, but not the wind. The kids always roll with the punches and go with whatever weather is thrown at them.

The kids had a successful weekend at the Missouri State Shoot!

22 kids participated as a part of the Quincy Quivering Clays.

Two kids earned yardage:
Collin Elsie - earned 1/2 yard on event #13 and 1/2 yard on event #17
Kaden Knight - earned 1/2 yard on event #17

Our Junior team shot a 974/1000: Myles Arrowsmith, Braxton Cannady, Collin Elsie, Josh Daugherty and Reid Henry.

We had several kids go into shoot offs:

** FYI this shoot is an invite only to the 10 IL School Gamemasters has invited** Quincy quivering clays will be serving food at the gamemasters shoot May 2nd. Breakfast biscuits and gravy. Lunch pulled pork, baked beans, potato salad, chips, cookies!! Come support the traveling team.

Due to the predicted weather for the upcoming weekend, we feel it is best to postpone the meat shoot. Our goal is always to bring a big crowd and to make as much money as possible for the kids, and with Saturdays predicted weather, we don't feel like we would have the crowd we want. THE NEW DATE IS SATURDAY, MARCH 14, 2026. Stay warm!
