👧 45 children
🏫 Three schools
🏎️ One seriously fast day

Back in July, we took 15 pupils from three partner schools to in Milton Keynes for a day none of them will forget

They split into three groups to rotate through watching a driving display out on the track, tours and STEM-inspired activities designed to get them thinking like engineers, not just spectators

Days like this are what our partnership with Mercedes-Benz is all about

Helping us turn curiosity into confidence

Thank you Mercedez Benz for an incredible day no one will forget đź’«

Got a couple of hours spare on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday? Spend it with us!

Our Roehampton and Battersea Hubs run on the people who show up to help

Filling shelves for the Social Supermarket, prepping and serving meals, and making sure everyone who walks through the door feels welcome

No experience needed, just a willingness to get stuck in đź’Ş

We’re showing up in two places at once in Bradford... the classroom and the community

At Life Feversham Primary, children now get weekly padel sessions, a STEM lesson and a hot meal, through our partnership with Salus Padel and support from the LTA Tennis Foundation

Then across the city, our Community Hub with Bradford City FC Community Foundation is supporting local families needing extra support
Together, we are engaging families in Bradford who need support

Two programmes, one goal: breaking the cycle of disadvantage for children and families in Bradford

Well done to everyone involved in making this happen đź‘Ź

💪 It’s not just Rackets Cubed that make our hubs run, they run on partners who show up for our community week after week helping us stock our shelves for local residents

Each week we have incredible humans dropping off food donations to support out Social Supermarket đź’«

A space where local residents who are facing hardship are able to come in and swap a small fee for a full basket of food and household products

This space would not be possible without our incredible partners like City Harvest London , DLAG 💛💙 , FareShare and all the local organisations doing their bit to support us

You help us provide vital support for people who need it more

It’s a new term, which means Rackets Cubed programmes are back and we’re excited to get started

Our coaches and teachers are back on court and in the classroom across the country, ready for another year of our integrated after-school programme

For many children, it’s the part of the week they look forward to most, and we can’t wait to see them again

Behind every Community Box is a story đź’«

Before she found us, one of our Community Hub members was choosing between food and bills, every single week

💬 ’I struggle and work full time, but got no help. I was choosing between food and bills until Rackets Cubed explained what you do.

Now I come every week. I love everything: the staff, the food, the Christmas hampers.’

That’s what a Community Hub is for

Providing dignified support for a family facing hardship, delivered by people who take the time to listen

Stories like this remind us why we need to keep our doors open every week

Help us keep the door open for the next person who needs it đź’š

Extra hands are always welcome at our Community Hubs 🤝

The team from Gallagher spent the day volunteering with us in Roehampton getting stuck into sorting food, stocking shelves and serving customers of local families facing hardship

Hands on support like this makes a real difference 🙌

A massive thank you to everyone at Gallagher for your time and energy. You’re all superstars 🌟

We’re always keen to welcome businesses who want to bring their team down for a volunteer day at one of our Hubs

It’s a brilliant way to give back and see the impact up close. If it’s something you’re interested in, we would love to hear from you 💚

Today is Youth Mental Health Day, and it’s a good moment to talk about something we see every week: how much a sense of belonging matters to a child’s wellbeing

92% of children told us they feel happier after taking part in our programme, and 96% look forward to their session each week

That’s through racket sports, STEM learning and a shared meal all building the same thing: a space where a child feels safe, motivated and included

Help us keep our programmes running
