We plant pheasants several times a year on public and private land. Our mission is to provide quality birds for years to come for all generations to enjoy upland game hunting. We fund raise through our annual banquet which is held the first Wednesday in October. If you are interested in joining or donating please contact us.

Attention: Zernicke’s pit on Mile Dr is off limits INDEFINITELY. We thank them for all their years of support and allowing us to plant birds and hunt on the land.

We are 10 days away from Opening day of the Pheasant season! Membership buttons are available at Jens Knaughty Pine, Hughes' Double Vision, and Olson Oil Co. Buttons are $30 and every hunter should have one.

A couple things with our land owners. Watermolen property on hwy 29 next to Doc’s will be closed opening day as Doc has his Halloween bash.

Zernicke’s property on Mile Drive will be closed all of November for their family to deer hunt. There will be signs out at each property for closures. Please respect the land owners decisions to close them.

With the rising costs of birds we are concentrating on planting birds at more hunt able properties like the State land on F. Mud Lake near Cecil and Navarino Wildlife.

The second and final pheasant release happened this past weekend.

With that being said the only area open during the 9 day gun hunt coming up is the State land on Cty F. All other are closed during deer hunting.

We also know the rut is going on now and guys are bow hunting their properties. If you see a vehicle or ATV when you get there that normally isn’t there DO NOT HUNT THERE. The land owners are gratuitous enough to let us plant birds and hunt their property we need to respect their hunting also.

Birds have been released and look real good! There will be no Hunting opening Day October 19th at the Watermolen property on Hwy 29 due to Doc’s Halloween festival. They will be doing hay rides in the back. This property will be posted with no hunting Saturday.
