🌕 Tonight is a once in a blue moon. Literally.
May started with a full moon and it is ending with one too. That only happens every two to three years. The sky is giving us something rare tonight and we think that deserves a moment outside.
There is something that happens to kids when they stand under a full moon. The questions come fast. Why is it so big? Why does it follow us? What lives up there? Those questions are the beginning of everything we do at Wasatch Nature School.
Wonder is not something we teach. It is something we protect.
So tonight, step outside with your little ones. Let them look up. Let them ask questions you cannot answer. Let the sky do what it has always done.
Be a witness to something rare together. 🌿

Children are naturally capable of leading their own learning.
At Wasatch Nature School our days are built around child-led learning through play. That looks like hands-on exploration and time in nature where kids light up, move, climb, laugh, and discover. When children learn this way, something incredible happens. They become more curious, more confident, and more creative. It’s a wondrous thing 🌲

Calling all Vineyard families 💚
If you are looking for a childhood with more movement, more connection, and more time outside, we would love to welcome you to our Vineyard campus. At Wasatch Nature School, children learn through play, exploration, creativity, and real world experiences. Days are spent outdoors building confidence, friendships, resilience, and curiosity that lasts.

We still have openings available for select Vineyard programs for Fall 2026–27, including kindergarten and preschool options.

Come see what learning can feel like when children are trusted to grow at their own pace.

BIG NEWS

We are incredibly grateful to the Utah Department of Natural Resources Recreation Department for awarding Wasatch Nature School a Utah Children’s Outdoor Recreation and Education (UCORE) grant for the 2026–2027 school year.
This grant allows us to provide 28 full scholarships for our Adventure Club program so more children can access meaningful outdoor education, adventure, connection, and play.
At WNS, we believe nature-based education should not feel out of reach for families.
Through this grant, students will also receive Every Kid Outdoors Passports so learning and exploration can continue beyond nature school and into everyday family life.

Scholarship applications are now open for children ages 6–12.

We would deeply appreciate you sharing this opportunity with families who may benefit from it.
