SAILING FOR ALL PROVINCETOWN INC – dba Sailing4AllPtown and SFAP was founded in 2018 as a non-profit corporation. It received an IRS determination letter naming it a 501(c)(3) charitable organization the same year. It was organized exclusively to encourage, develop, promote, and administer a young adult thru senior inclusive community sailing school that assures access and opportunity for all by a
pplying the tenets of DEI, integrating the able bodied with the capable disabled, with a safety first mentality. It is teaching a basic keel-boat curriculum in class and on the water. SFAP had some small test operations from 2019-2023 but was mostly refining its model while maneuvering through COVID, first with a Sonar 23 ft keel boat and in 2023 it switched to a Rhodes 19 CB, a boat that fits better with Provincetown's 10 ft tide and local boat ramp. There are no DIY boat hoists for the sailing community at the town pier, a severe impediment to accessing the waterway in Provincetown. Board of Directors
