Happy New Year! 🎊 The 2025 holiday season was an incredible one for the Warm-A-Heart Gingerbread program and we can’t wait to share soon how this year’s proceeds with be distributed!

Thank you for continuing to follow our journey! Today we're sharing the history of the Warm-A-Heart Gingerbread Program ❤️ (Looking back with this photo at year 6, we're now in our 16th year and going strong!)

Since 2009, the Warm-A-Heart Gingerbread Program has been rooted in one simple idea: bringing joy, generosity, and essential support to families in need. What began as a partnership between GraciesProv and The Miriam Hospital—assembling just 800 kits in our first year—quickly grew into a beloved community tradition. Hospital staff would adopt local families, shop from their wish lists, and gather to celebrate with heartwarming holiday parties that reminded us what community truly means.

Though the world changed in 2020, our purpose never did. Today, gingerbread cookies are baked with care at Ellie's Prov, volunteers from across Rhode Island assemble kits at ReFocus, Inc., and partners like Dave's Fresh Marketplace help bring them into the hands of thousands of neighbors. Sixteen years later—and 52,500 kits produced and sold since the program began—Warm-A-Heart continues to foster generosity, deliver essential items to those in need, and transform seasonal giving into year-round impact, one gingerbread kit at a time. ❤️🍪

Happy National Cookie Day! 🫶 In our little Santa’s Village of cookies, we have so much to be grateful for this season! ❤️

Thanks to Ellie’s bakers and all our volunteers, we’ve distributed over 3,500 Warm-A-Heart Gingerbread Kits and welcomed $13,500 in sales so far!

Kit assembly is almost complete for the season, and kits will continue to be available for purchase through the holidays on a first-come, Ellie's bGracie'sieBelmont Marketsprov, ’s Fresh Marketplaceselect across RI.

100% of net proceeds benefit local families in need.🫶
