We are an association of neighbors and businesses who advocate and work on behalf of our community. Our focus area is the West Side of Providence from Route 10 to the West and Interstate 95 to the east, between Broadway and Cranston Street. Our vision for WBNA: an effective, efficient and transparent organization providing leadership and achieving community goals through a combination of programs,

advocacy, collaboration, engagement, events, and replicable projects. Our vision for the neighborhood: a great place to live; a diverse, safe, sustainable, and historic urban neighborhood, where you can be SWELL (shop, work, eat, live and learn locally).

We’re looking for an experienced oyster shucker for our Solstice Social Garden Party on Thursday, June 18 from 6–9 PM.

This is a paid opportunity. Must have your own tools and be comfortable shucking for event guests.

Quick heads-up for everyone in the neighborhood ! 🚛 🗑️

Trash pickup is scheduled for tomorrow morning. If you’re running out of space and need an overflow bag, please reach out to us or so we can get you sorted.

Also, the trucks might need to make a second pass on Saturday to make sure everything is cleared, so please leave your bins out until the job is done.

Thanks for helping keep the neighborhood clean!
