2 Guys Living History Living History Group from Rhode Island

To honor and remember all who served. We are in Rhode Island and enjoy history. To honor and remember all who served.

We volunteer our time to participate in 20th Century Living History Displays and parades. We portray men form different divisions of the United States Army. World War 2 (1941-1945) Phantom Divisions: You know of Operation Fortitude, that deceived the Germans for the Normandy invasion, but did you know the same thing was done in the Pacific Theater with Operation Wedlock. The Forgotten War, Korea

(1950-1953); to the best of our knowledge, we are the only Korean war Living history group in the Northeast. The Korean Conflict, being 5 years after World War 2 and overshadowed by the Vietnam war is often overlooked. Operation Urgent Fury, (1983) the invasion of the Island of Grenada. The United States first active combat situation, since we left Vietnam. Vietnam: 1st Calvary Division (1965) & 5th Special Forces

Our displays are educational and informative; includes uniforms, equipment, personal items and the history of what we are representing.

Our Story

World War 2 (1941-1945) Phantom Divisions


  • Operation Fortitude South; an elaborate deception to confuse the German High Command into thinking the Allies are going to invade Fortress Europe at the Pas de Calais.

  • Operation Wedlock; the little know deception, that caused Imperial Japanese Forces to diverted into protecting the home islands from an invasion by way of Alaska.
