🎉🏀 HAPPY 11TH BIRTHDAY, KRISHAV! 🎂🔥

Today we’re celebrating one of our Elite Hoops Academy athletes, Krishav P.!

Krishav has been working on his game with us since March 2025, and his development is exactly what we want young athletes to understand:

Stay with it. Trust the process. LOCK IN.

The player Krishav is today is noticeably different from the player who first walked into EHA. His skills have improved tremendously. His confidence on the court has grown. He plays with more purpose and belief in his game.

And none of that happened by accident.

Krishav is one of our most coachable athletes. He listens. He works. He gives great effort. He brings an amazing attitude. Then he comes back and does it again.

That consistency compounds. 📈🏀

Krishav is a great example of what we want an EHA athlete to look like — not because everything comes easy, but because he continues to work at it.

DEVELOPMENT ISN'T ALWAYS COMFORTABLE.🏀

At Elite Hoops Academy®, we believe preparing athletes for the next level means more than improving their handle, shot or footwork.

Athletes have to learn how to compete through adversity.

When they're tired.
When they're frustrated.
When they make mistakes.
When the game gets physical.
When things simply aren't going their way.

Our coaches will teach. We'll encourage. We'll support.

But we'll also challenge.

We expect effort. Communication. Accountability. Resilience. And a willingness to compete.

Because our responsibility isn't to make everything feel easy.

It's to help prepare our athletes for when it isn't.

That preparation matters on the basketball court; but the lessons learned through competition can last far beyond it.

MEET THE TEAM | BRAYLIN WHITEHEAD

We’re excited to officially introduce Braylin Whitehead, one of our Skills Trainers at Elite Hoops Academy®!

Braylin joined us this summer and has quickly become exactly the kind of young leader we want around our athletes. He’s respectful, brings great energy to the gym, and has a natural ability to connect with the players he trains.

A senior at Richland High School in Prosper, Braylin brings varsity basketball experience, a competitive mindset and a genuine passion for the game.

At EHA, we believe there is something powerful about accomplished young athletes passing their knowledge, experiences and love for the game to the athletes coming behind them. Our younger players get to learn from someone who isn't just teaching the journey — he's still living it.

Braylin says basketball is more than a game to him. It's his passion. And you can see that passion in the way he works with our athletes.

We're proud to have this young man on our team and excited to watch him continue to grow as a trainer, mentor and leader.

We’re excited to welcome Mady Walker to our Skills Training team!

Mady is a local high school basketball standout at Richland High School, Prosper, TX, a three-year varsity athlete and Defensive Player of the Year who has spent nine years developing her game.

One of the things we’re intentional about at Elite Hoops Academy® is putting aspiring athletes around people who are actively living the journey they’re working toward.

Accomplished young athletes paving the way for the next generation.

Mady brings energy, experience and a passion for helping athletes get better and we’re excited to have her in the gym.

Random workouts can make an athlete tired.

A development system makes them better.

The Elite Blueprint™ is how we develop athletes with purpose.

WHY 3v3? 🏀

Because skill development has to transfer to the game.

Today’s work: 3v3 Shell → Live.

We start with structure: positioning, help-side defense, communication, rotations, closeouts and seeing both ball and player.

Then we take the restrictions off and GO LIVE.

That transition matters.

3v3 creates more decisions, more touches and more defensive responsibilities for every athlete. There’s nowhere to hide. Players have to read, react, communicate and compete in real time.

We’re not just teaching athletes what to do.

We’re training them to recognize when and why to do it.
