THANK YOU, PROSPECT PARK COMMUNITY!

The Prospect Park Community Annual Toy Drive was, once again, a HUGE success! Due to the generosity of many people, we were able to help 11 families (36 children total - the most we've ever helped in one year!) in Prospect Park with Christmas presents that consisted of clothing, toys and gift cards.

Thanks to all who supported us whether you adopted an entire family, purchased one or several gifts, donated a gift card or attended our annual Pet Photos with Santa. We are so grateful for all the generous donations. A special thanks to Sal of Mini Reef in Prospect Park and Faith Dalessio of Tommy's Toy Drive for their donation of toys; Chris and the Prospect Park Highway Dept for their help throughout the holiday season and for helping us get all the gifts to the school; and finally, to Chief Madonna and the Prospect Park Police Dept for accepting gift cards at the station on our behalf from the community. It is wonderful to see the true Spirit of Christmas at work in this community!

Another VERY successful year! 80 bags of gifts for 11 families and 36 children have been delivered to the Prospect Park Elementary School.

The PPC Toy Drive Elves want to thank everyone for their generosity whether you adopted a child or entire family; donated a gift card; or supported our annual Pet Photos with Santa fundraiser!

Wishing you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY, HEALTHY 2026!

P.S. A final tally and photos of the gift bags will be posted once all families have picked up their gifts from the school.

We had 62 Registrations this year which included:

70 Dogs
3 Cats
2 Rabbits
24 Children

Helping us with this event were 11 students from Interboro High School: Sara Buschmeier, Juliana Buschmeier, Deryk Hollinger, Lailani Lagasca, Abigail Molloy, Jimmy Monroe, Lauren Neavey, Amber Page, Aryanna Sesay, Kyleigh Sloan and Maria Zuniga. If you know any of these students, please be sure to thank them for helping us run a successful event.

Our PPCTD Elves were there in full force as well: Mandi Collett, Joe Daniels, Debbie Daniels and Pat Quinn. This event could not take place without their help and support each year.

Everyone helped us raise over $700 that will be used to purchase gifts for the 35 children that we've adopted from Prospect Park Elementary School.

THANK YOU to everyone who came out today and supported our Pet Photos with Santa event.

The raw Photos will start going out sometime tomorrow, with the framed photos being emailed later in the week.

Raffle winners will be contacted tomorrow and then we'll post the names here.

Your generosity today will enable us to purchase many gifts for the 35 children we have adopted this year (11 families) from Prospect Park Elementary School.

Also thanks to our volunteers who braved the cold to help out today - especially the students from Interboro High School.

Suggested $5 donation benefits our annual Prospect Park Elementary School Toy Drive. There will also be raffle baskets and gifts to purchase. Looks to be a great day - hope to see you there!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Enjoy the time with your family and fur babies today, then bring them to Park Square this Saturday, 11/29, for our Pet Photos with Santa event starting at 11 AM and running to 2 PM.

This is a CASH event with all proceeds benefiting our annual Toy Drive.
