💚 Happy 17th Birthday, Jayden. 💚

17 years ago today, we were given the greatest gift — you.

From the time you were little, you were always happiest on a John Deere. You started young, and it didn’t take long for everyone to see how much you loved farming. Whether you were sitting on a tractor, learning, working, or dreaming about the future, you were always right where you belonged — on a John Deere. 🚜💚

Today you should be here. You should be turning 17, driving us crazy, working on something, sitting on a tractor, talking about farming, and making plans for everything you wanted to do with your life.

Instead, we are celebrating your birthday without you… and no matter how much good has come from the Make A Farmer Foundation, we would give every bit of it back in a heartbeat just to have you here.

MFF exists because of you. Because of the dreams you had, the things you loved, the way you worked, and the life you should have had the chance to live.

Every scholarship given, every student helped, every person who shows up to support this foundation — it all carries a little piece of you forward. And while we are so proud of what has been built in your name, there will always be one person missing from all of it.

You.

We don’t want your memory to be defined by the day we lost you. We want it to be defined by the 14 incredible years we were lucky enough to have you — your smile, your determination, your love for farming, your big dreams, and the amazing kid you were.

Happy 17th Birthday in Heaven, Jayden. 💚🚜

We hope somehow you can see all the lives you’re still touching and all the good being done because you were here.

But more than anything, we just wish you were here to see it yourself.

We love you. We miss you beyond words. And we will keep making you proud.

We would like to thank Kevin and congratulate him on his MASSIVE WIN! Thanks to Freedom Motorsports of Illinois for the generous hook up on the sxs.
Finally thank you ALL for the time, assistance, support and love! Who knows what the future holds, for now we know we have another years of scholarships secured!

Will the real KEVIN BAKER please stand up! We have a winner and although he isn’t in town to pick it up we would like to thank him and all the other participants to buying tickets! This all goes into helping our youth achieve their goals. So when he gets into town we will get him signed, sealed and deliver the machine!

Tomorrow is the event! 2026 Make a Farmer Fest! The “car” show will be open to Side by sides, motorcycles, jeeps, trucks, semis, race cars, tractors and more! Trophy’s to first place in each category!
When: 8-8-26 show starts at 12-5 but can come set up after 10am.
Where: Main Street in prophetstown Illinois
How: sign up is across from hardware store on Main Street.
Sign up fee at tent!
