It did not take long for someone to discover that the ponds and lakes are not safe. 2 sleds are in the water in Lakefront Park.

Winter Storm is taking shape to hit our area late Saturday into Sunday.
While the trails remain open in Scott County, the upcoming snow storm posses some challenges. The top 8 to 10 inches of soil is very soft and is a safety risk for all. Lakes are never safe and I would say extremely unsafe at this time.
Our trail coordinators and tail bosses will be out the next few days and will be placing Trail Closed signs on Private property where damage to the property could and will occur if you ride on them. Please respect the property and do not go around signs. Ditches are also full of water, you will get wet. Dress appropriately if you are going out and do not ride alone.

Thank you and please share with your friends so we do not risk losing trails for next year.
