Memorial Day is a time to remember the individuals who gave their lives in service to our country and the ideals our nation was built upon.

What began after the Civil War as “Decoration Day” became a national tradition of honoring those who never returned home — men and women whose courage helped preserve the freedoms and opportunities we often enjoy without a second thought.

Their service shaped generations, strengthened our country through times of conflict and uncertainty, and reminds us that liberty has always carried a profound cost. While today may bring gatherings, celebrations, and the start of summer for many, it is also a moment to reflect on the responsibility that comes with freedom and the sacrifices made to protect it.

We honor the legacy of those who served with bravery, dedication, and an unwavering sense of duty. Their impact endures far beyond history books or memorials — it lives on in the freedoms we continue to cherish every day.

Remembering and honoring our fallen heroes this Memorial Day.
